Advantages include being able to reach a major untapped opportunity to reach out to real people and their alter egos. Another advantage is that they can reach vast audiences in a new way. This also allows companies to push boundaries in how they communicate with their customers. The only disadvantage in this would be that virtual stores are not for everybody.
